Rules of the boule
In the world of casino games both online and at a land based casino the boule is really popular because it is similar to roulette but much more simple. In addition the minimum bets are really low.
The basic principle
Like in roulette the aim of the game is to guess on which pocket the ball is going to land. For this, you have several bets. You may bet on high numbers, you should place your chips on the number pocket of your choice. This bet pays 7:1. You may also bet there will be a tie. Identical to outside bets in roulette, there are 6 different, composed of 3 families of 2. by placing your chips on the corresponding pocket, you may bet on red or black with the following numbers 1, 3, 6 and 8 or 2, 4 7 and 9on even or odd on 2,4,6 and 8 on the first or 1,3,7 and 9 for the second. And on high or low on the following numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6, 7, 8 and 9. It pays 1:1. Contrary to the roulette, you have to bet on the split. Number 5 is paid like the other numbers, 7 times your initial bet. However, it is not considered as red, or black, even, odd, high, low. Thus, when it comes out, all tie bets lose.
Material of the game
The boule is played standing around a table divided into several parts. The game features a table and a wheel with only 9 numbers and 3 different colours. 5 is yellow. The wheel is spun and a small rubber ball bounces around the wheel before settling into one of the coloured holes to determine the outcome. There is only one wining number. The dealer who manages the boule table is known as “bouleur”.
Procedure of the game
A round of boule is similar to that of roulette. It starts with the initial bet when the dealer announces, “ladies and gentlemen, place your bets”. At this moment, you place your chips on the pockets of your choice. There is no system in place that allows the dealer to place your chips. When the “bouleur” thinks all bets have been placed he says “no more bets”. Then he sends the ball into the cylinder, opposite to the latter. Finally, the dealer announces "no more bets" to indicate that you can not add, move or delete bets. When the ball comes to rest in one of the pockets, the dealer announces the number and corresponding three equal groups to which it is either: black or red, even or odd, and High/low. However, the number 5 is contained in no draw. Then, the dealer pays 7 times the bet to the number drawn and 1 for all tie bets and he picks up the chips placed on the losing bets.
