The Netherlands unveils legalisation bill

In November 2012, we mentioned in this article that the Netherlands was working on a project to legalise and regulate online gambling.
We now know a bit more about this piece of legislation, which has been published on 23 May.
It puts an end to the state monopoly of Holland Casino and seeks to open up the sports betting, poker and online casino market to competition from 2015.
In addition, the tax rate has already been set at 20%.
After a consultation period, the bill will be sent back to parliament. A vote should take place in the middle of July.
