Suspected illegal activities at Palms Casino Resort

Since 2007, Las Vegas is no longer the world capital of gambling.
Indeed, Las Vegas has been overtaken in this ranking by Macau and Singapore.
Moreover, it has recently been hit by the scandal of the Palms Casino Resort.
A joint investigation conducted by the Las Vegas police and the Nevada Gaming Control Board has uncovered illegal activities that had been covered up by the gambling establishment.
Acting as wealthy customers, investigators managed to obtain from the casino employees the services of call girls and large quantities of hard drugs.
On 10 January, the Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a 21-page complaint that includes 17 criminal charges.
The management of the gaming resort has claimed that it was not aware of the various activities mentioned in the complaint.
In addition, they affirmed that they will do anything in their powers to stop these activities.
