Nevada may legalise skill games
A legislative committee has published a study that recommends to the state of Nevada to amend the law to allow the Gaming Commission to consider introducing skill games to the land based casinos.
Representing manufacturers of games, the lawyer Dan Reaser said that skill games could link together videogames and slot machines, which would allow talented players to get better chances of winning.
At the moment, such a concept is prohibited by the laws of the State of Nevada that say, that gambling must be the same for all players.
Dan Reaser has tried to convince the legislative committee to conduct an interim study on the impact of such games on the industry.
The study was published on Wednesday, May 27 and it recommends that the state of Nevada should change its law.
This proposal should be presented to the legislative assembly in 2015.
It may then soon be possible to enjoy gambling based on skill in the casinos of Las Vegas, Reno or Carson City in particular.
