Madison Square Garden in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is never short of big projects.
After the news that a huge casino complex might be built in the south of the Strip – as mentioned in this piece – there are now rumours that the Madison Square Garden could land in Vegas.
Considering that tourists do not want just casinos, but love to walk in the open air, go shopping and visit the attractions of the city, MGM Resorts International plans to build a huge outdoor park with green spaces and an open mall in between the New York-New York and the Monte Carlo.
A new 20,000-seat stadium will also be built in this area – it will host sporting events, concerts and other big events.
Inspired by the famous Madison Square Garden in New York, the park might be finished in 2016.
If the project will receive the go-ahead by the authorities of the State of Nevada, the first part will be open by next year.
