Las Vegas Sands plans on launching a complex in Vietnam
This year, we have frequently talked about Vietnam in this column, the last column, and in others.
Due to construction projects of different, large-scale casinos, the country could become a relatively discreet but real competitor for Macao.
This doesn’t seem to have fazed the businessman Sheldon Adelson, President of the American group, Las Vegas Sands, who just announced that he wants to invest in a leisure complex in Vietnam.
This project would bring together hotels, casinos, restaurants, shopping centers, a spa, and conference rooms.
Following this announcement, the Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment, Bui Quang Vinh appeared to be very satisfied.
He has always been open to offering the best possible conditions for foreign investors, who intend to increase the presence of casino gambling in his country.
