Kevin Spacey Plays Jack Abramoff in Casino Jack (Bagman)
Although casino is my greatest passion, I also love great cinema.
So I am always happy when a film about gambling is out on the screens.
So I am looking forward to Casino Jack which is scheduled for December in the United States.
This new feature tells the true story of lobbyist Jack Abramoff who was released December 17 in the United States.
In 2006 he was sentenced to 6 years in prison for a fraud case against Indian casinos.
Of course, gambling should not be the central subject of the film, but the history of this ambitious man who used his power and charisma to scam some good apples seems interesting anyway.
Moreover, it should teach us much about the intricacies of American politics and the famous Indian casinos.
In addition, the cast is good with the pretty Kelly Preston, the mysterious Barry Pepper and especially the impeccable Kevin Spacey.
The latter seems to love stories about the world of casino after Las Vegas 21 based on the famous team of card counters known as MIT Blackjack.
Inspired by the documentary Casino Jack and the United States of Money by Alex Gibney, the film written by Norman Snider and directed by George Hickenlooper, intrigues me a lot.
While waiting for it to be released I will let you discover its trailer.
