Hilton Lake Las Vegas Casino will not open this autumn

The complex Hilton Lake Las Vegas Hotel and Spa was going to open a casino in October.
However, the project was put into question in May, when real estate investor Lam Man Ho was unable to obtain a gambling license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
If he wants to set up gambling on his premises, the property still has three years to achieve this.

Searching a new casino operator

Currently, the management of Hilton Lake Las Vegas Hotel and Spa is actively seeking to switch to another operator to achieve opening a casino within the allocated time frame.
However, they cannot re-apply this year, as they will just be rejected again.
If the complex wanted to open a casino in October, it would have to coincide with the reopening of a popular golf course and the Galleria Parkway road, that will allow more direct access to Lake Las Vegas.
Opening the casino in October is not an option any longer.
The new plan is to find a new operator to open the casino as quickly as possible.
However, other options are also being considered, such as the transformation of local apartments or simply the sale of home games.
Whatever happens, the management of the establishment remain optimistic.
They have already received some offers, and operators doubt that the formalities to opening the casino will take more than 3 years.

The revitalisation of Lake Las Vegas

The project to open a casino in the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Hotel and Spa is part of the revitalisation of the area of the city of Henderson, Nevada, which is the second largest city in the state after Las Vegas.
It also involves the refurbishment of Reflection Bay, the largest golf resort in Nevada.
Other investments are also being made.
One example is the fact that the group Raintree Investment Corp has acquired land for $31 million, and the company Pacific Capital Investments, the owner of 3 hectares in this area, is currently looking into opening new shops and restaurants.
