Businessman Donald Trump is suing two casinos in Atlantic City that bear his name.
He wants the owners to either improve their service, or change their name.
The real estate mogul who was the chairman of an empire of casinos during the glorious days of Atlantic City, has filed this complaint against the Trump Entertainment Resorts on Tuesday, August 5.

Two obsolete casinos
Donald Trump resigned as head of the Trump Entertainment Resorts group in 2009. The company had been established in the early 1980’s.
Even though he left his seat on the board, the company is continuing to use his name.
However, lately, the business man did not appreciate that his name was linked to some establishments.
He asked a judge to force the group to either improve their services immediately, or to withdraw his name.
The two casinos in question are both located in Atlantic City.
One is the Trump Taj Mahal, and the other the Trump Plaza.
According to the businessman, the two establishments have become obsolete.
Since they no longer meet industry standards in terms of cleanliness and service they tarnish his reputation and image, and he does not want them be associated with him anymore if this continues.
The difficulties of the Trump Plaza
With this complaint, Donald Trump also wants to make clear that he no longer has any relations to the Trump Entertainment Resorts.
He also wants to make sure that he will have no liabilities when the Trump Plaza closes, and more than 1,000 people lose their job.
He also says that he does not have anything to do with the casinos in Atlantic City that failed quality assessments.
These were carried out by a consulting firm in 2012.
The Trump Plaza had been opened in 1984, and it helped pave the way for a new industry in Atlantic City.
However, the complex is now at risk of having to close its doors, as well as three other casinos in the city.
