Lower revenues for the casinos in Nevada

The Nevada gaming control board has just published the latest statistics from the industry of gambling in Nevada.
These figures are not really good.
Indeed, during the month of February the casinos of the state only earned 926 million dollar, which is a decrease of 14% compared to the same period last year.
These results are even worse for the establishments on the Las Vegas strip, that only generated 556 million dollar in revenue, a steep decrease of 20%.
On the other side though, the Downtown casinos grew their turnover by 3% , which amounted to 43 million dollar.
Similarly, the revenues of the casinos in Reno increased by 1% to 44 million dollar, and the revenues of the casinos in South Lake Tahoe dropped to 15 million dollar, which is a decrease of nearly 10%.
