As of today, Canadian Internet users will no longer be able to use Skrill to pay for their purchases on the web.

The announcement surprised more than one commentator because Skrill is currently one of the leading payment methods on the online gambling market.
In August, it was sold to the firm CVC Capital Partners for a little less than 600 million euros.
