Facebook joins 888 to launch real money gambling

Facebook already offers several online gambling applications, as we have regularly reported – for example, in this article and this piece.
In 2013, the social network seems more determined than ever to go down this path, in the light of a recent agreement with 888 Holdings, an operator that has a licence from Gibraltar.
With a joint press release, the two companies have announced that in 2013 they will be launching – only in the UK market – a new offer involving real money gambling.
The new offer will include a bingo game and some casino games, such as blackjack and slot machines.
By contrast, no poker game (or variant) has been mentioned, yet.
