2 huge new casino projects in Vietnam

Vietnam could soon become a competitor, certainly a less visible one, but no less real, for Macao.
In effect, in an effort to limit the loss of Vietnamese players to other Asian countries, the government is currently drafting a law that will legalize gambling for the country’s citizens.
Up to now, casinos in Vietnam were reserved solely for foreigners.
By the same token, several very large casino projects have been unveiled over the past few years, like the one presented here, for example.
A short while ago, the president of the group Tuan Chau announced his intention to build a 7.5 billion dollar casino in the north of the Quang Ninh province and another on the island of Van Don.
Already in the works, these two projects have currently obtained loan agreements from banks and financial institutions.
Next, they will be submitted to national authorities to obtain government approval.
